Brooklyn Nets Basketball T-Shirts

The Brooklyn Nets began in 1967 as the New Jersey Americans of the American Basketball Association. With a new name, new arena, and a host of new players, the team was led by head coach Larry Brown in his first year at the helm. The ’67 campaign started off with a bang as the Nets won their first seven games to set an NBA expansion team record. By season’s end, however, New Jersey finished just eight games above .500 and missed the playoffs by five games.
